red brick county courthouse stands out with its tall ornate tower and establishes the city as the county seat and center of commerce for Sevier County. The city stretches south along Route 66 from Interstate 40 to Pigeon
Forge.
Sevierville offers numerous special events during the year. Its annual Apple Festival features arts festivals,
competitions, and great foods. The award-winning Sevier County Fair has over a week of Smokies skills, celebrities, products, and games.
Sevierville is host to dozens of factory outlet stores, two championship golf courses, numerous antique malls and flea
markets and several fine dining restaurants.
